Approaches of FAIR

Rights Based Approach:

Since its inception FAIR has been striving for human rights, social justice and dignity of the marginalized and excluded people. Rights based Approach (RBA) is the main focus in every initiative and intervention of FAIR. FAIR adopts rights based approach to empower the marginalized and excluded people to claim their rights, and address their multi-faceted problems.

Participation & Potentiality Approach:

FAIR emphasizes community and group based integrated development approaches for over all development of the target people. FAIR cooperates with the target people with special emphasis on exploring the problems of the marginalized and excluded people and building up their own potentialities through Gono Gobeshona (People research), sharing meeting etc. FAIR also strongly believes that people can change their conditions with their own capacities. FAIR works only as animator to achieve the positive change.

Coordinated and Collaborative Approach:

The enormity of the problems and challenges faced by marginalized and excluded people especially Dalits, disable people, women and children are severe. In order to make a real change in society, all interventions need to be initiated in a coordinated and collaborative approach. Thus, FAIR always promotes networks and alliances to create a common passion, synergy and solidarity among marginalized people, Service provider organizations and individuals who are working for the marginalized and excluded people.
